I've just updated to 11.11 and am trying to get the "waves" functionality working in the encounter builder. I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong as I can't get it to work for me.

After adding a number of monsters to the encounter, I right click on one and select "Set Wave->New Wave...". This adds a new group with the heading "Wave 2". I repeat this a number of times adding various creatures to a number of waves. One thing that I did notice, after adding some creatures to new waves all of the waves are listed in the "Set Wave" menu as "Initial wave" not as "wave 2, wave 3, etc".

When I save the encounter and return to the plot point editor it only shows the creatures in the first wave. When I run the encounter and try to access the extra waves from the "Combatants->Waves" menu it shows "(none set)" as if it had not saved any of the additional waves that I created.

Any help would be appreciated.

i love your program!!! has got me back into DnD, and am finding it so much easier and less time consuming to organize the campaign. only problem with the update is that I, too, am getting an error when i try to open a paused encounter. I have sent an email with a dropbox link to the project file. i hope there is a fix as the game resumes friday! if not would it be possible to get the 11.10 version?

I tried out the Wave enemies (seems really cool), but found that, as an encounter advances, the enemies do not appear as the rounds progress. Am I missing a step somewhere?
