Version 11

Masterplan version 11 has now been released.

The tentpole features of this release are the new creature and trap designers, which make the creation of creatures and traps very much easier. Other additions include a new map autobuild type (freeform areas) and the ability to zoom into tactical maps using the mouse wheel.

Race Keywords

Introducing a new player to D&D can be tricky. You can help them with almost everything, but the two choices they need to make forthemselves are race and class. D&D 4e is very helpful when it comes to classes, in that you can explain them in terms of power sources and roles, but there’s really no way to help them pick a race, other than showing them the pictures in the various books.

So wouldn’t it be helpful to be able to describe a race in terms of keywords? You could then narrow your options by choosing what keywords you’re interested in.
