Version 11.6

Here’s a quick update with a few nice new features.

  • You can now quickly adjust the difficulty of an entire plot up or down; similarly, you can change the level of a creature or a trap you’re creating with one click, which automatically handles all the maths for you.
  • You can also share your campaign background between projects, and encyclopedia entry templates are now supported.

Finally, you can predefine map tokens and overlays for your PCs in the same way as combat effects, which is another handy way to speed up combat encounters.

I thought Masterplan couldn’t get any better, yet more and more useful features get rolled out. Thank you!

Wow! I didn’t think my comment about Encyclopedia HTML templates had been read but actions really do speak louder than words!

my computer broke, is there a way to recover my libraries, or do I have to start over?

    • Masterplan Says:

Yes, if you can get the files, you can use them as long as your user name and computer name are the same as before.

    • Bazutti Says:

I’m a little confused at one thing: “To speed up combat, you can predefine effects (such as ongoing damage or status effects), map tokens and map overlay tiles for each PC. To do this, switch to the Combat page and press the Add button.”

What/where is the combat page? Is this the same add token/overlay that’s used for everything else when an encounter is running?

    • Masterplan Says:

It’s a tab in the screen when you’re editing a PC (F4 from the main screen).

Awesome product, keep up the good work.
Question: How do you use the encyclopedia templates?

    • David Says:

    • Jim Says:

When I use the new feature to adjust the level of a plot it always becomes more difficult even if I choose less difficult.

      Hi There
this is an amazing tool I wasn’t sure where to ask for help or request a feature so I figured here would be my first place

Can you make units have a letter or number designation field when you have multiple units of say monster 1 ? I find it hard to keep track of initiative when a few die ie i would like monster 1 to be labeled a and monster 2 to be labeled b and monster three to be labeled 4 if they are all monster 1 copied
Thanks again for such a great helper in my campaigning
